Existing Users - Installation Guide for ScaffPlan 2026

ScaffPlan 2026 Compatibility:

Compatible Tekla Structures 2026 Service Pack 3.1 

✅ Start Fresh with ScaffPlan 2026
Complete all ongoing projects in current version of Tekla Structures and ScaffPlan. Use Tekla Structures 2026 Service Pack 3.1 and ScaffPlan 2026 only for new projects to prevent compatibility issues.
We recommend keeping current version(s) installed alongside 2026. This allows to finish existing work without disruption while starting new jobs in the updated version.

🚧ScaffPlan Compatibility:
Models created in earlier versions of ScaffPlan cannot be opened in ScaffPlan 2026.

↩️ Tekla Structures Compatibility:
Models from Tekla Structures 2020–2025 that are opened and saved in Tekla Structures 2026 are not backwards compatible. Once saved, they cannot be opened in older versions.

 

1. Download & Install Tekla Structures 2026.

BEFORE PROCEEDING: 

Already have Tekla Structures installed? 

Please make sure you have version 2026 Service Pack 3.1 before proceeding and skip this step if installed.

 
  1. Go to Tekla Downloads, and sign in using your Trimble ID set in the previous step.

      2. Under the Business tab select version 2026 and click on All Downloads for Tekla 2026.

3. Select Tekla Structures version 2026 Service Pack 3, and click Apply filter.

4. Click Tekla Structures 2026 Service Pack 3.1 to start the Download process.

5. Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and double-click to begin the installation.

6. Follow the prompts in the installer wizard.

2. Download & Install ScaffPlan 2026 for Tekla.

BEFORE PROCEEDING: 

Used ScaffPlan 2026 before? 

Uninstall Scaffplan for Tekla 2026 using Programs and Features.

 
  1. Download the ScaffPlan 2026 for Tekla installer provided by the link in the pop-up message inside of the previous version.
  2. Install ScaffPlan 2026 following the installation wizard:
