1. Purpose of the tool
The Project Information tool is designed to help users set up and manage project properties effectively for every new project. You can Save information for future use when working on large projects with multiple phases or repeat customers/clients.
It allows users to:
1. Select the scaffolding system to be used for the project.
2. Define supplier logo information which can be referenced in reports and drawings
3. Define client company information which can be referenced in reports and drawings
4. Set up project properties, including naming the project and providing a job number.
2. User Interface overview.
The tool is located on the ScaffPlan Toolbar
To open the tool menu please click on the tool icon.

Scaffolding Configuration |
The Scaffolding System in ScaffPlan allows users to select and manage different types of scaffolding configurations for their projects. It plays a crucial role in setting up project properties. You can Switch between different systems at anytime during the project by picking another system from the drop-down list |

Supplier Details |
This allows contact information on the Supplier to be used for documentation output and reports logos that can be stored in the ScaffPlan folder structure for repeat clients and saved back to the ScaffPlan system to avoid having to repeat this for every project. |

Input relevant identifiers that may be necessary for project management and communication in relation to the Client |

Project Details |
Create individual project names and numbers that will be automatically included in project documentation Add URL information from Trimble Connect to display QR Codes on drawings which can be scanned and viewed on multiple devices and platforms instantly |

To save a current tool settings it is required to type name of the setting into the box and click Save button. To load previously saved settings please click on the box to drop down a list of settings available then choose a desired setting. Once the setting clicked from the drop-down it will be automatically loaded, and dialogue boxes updated to values saved under the setting. |

Opens ScaffPlan knowledge base articles on the tool usage. |

Saves values set in the dialogue boxes without closing the dialog box. ScaffPlan uses these properties the next time you create an object of this type. |
