1. Purpose of the contextual toolbar.

The ScaffPlan Toolbar is a contextual toolbar that appears when specific ScaffPlan tools are active in the model.
It provides quick access to additional functionality and helps streamline the modeling process by allowing easy access to commonly used options without opening separate dialogs.

This toolbar can be repositioned anywhere on the screen or locked in place for convenience. It can also be hidden and re-enabled when needed.

The toolbar is enabled by default when ScaffPlan tools are active.

You can close or reopen it anytime using the ScaffPlan menu in the ribbon.

If the toolbar is closed, you can reopen it via:

Ribbon → Extensions → ScaffPlan → Enable ScaffPlan Toolbar

FUNCTIONALITY

Open ScaffPlan Properties Dialogue

Opens the tool’s properties window for the currently selected item in the model.
Use this to access the tool dialogue to modify parameters, dimensions, or settings after the tool has been placed.

Display Snapping Points

Toggles snapping points visibility on tool components.
This helps achieve precise alignment when positioning or connecting scaffolding elements.

💡 Works especially well when combined with X-Ray rendering mode, making snapping targets easier to identify.

Toggle Labels Visibility

Shows or hides component labels in the model.
These labels typically include:

Component naming conventions (e.g., Start / End)

Bay end conventions (e.g., End1 / End2)

Lock Toolbar Position

Useful when working with multiple floating toolbars or a multi-monitor setup for consistent access.
