🚀Key Features🚀
💥 Variable-Length Multi-Bay Placement - create complex bay runs faster by changing bay lengths on the fly in one continuous workflow.
💥 Imperial Units Support - work consistently in imperial units across ScaffPlan tools.
ScaffPlan 2025 Compatibility:
✅ Compatible Tekla Structures 2026 Service Pack 3.1
✅ Start Fresh with ScaffPlan 2026
Complete all ongoing projects in current version of Tekla Structures and ScaffPlan. Use Tekla Structures 2026 Service Pack 3.1 and ScaffPlan 2026 only for new projects to prevent compatibility issues.
We recommend keeping current version(s) installed alongside 2026. This allows to finish existing work without disruption while starting new jobs in the updated version.
🚧ScaffPlan Compatibility:
Models created in earlier versions of ScaffPlan cannot be opened in ScaffPlan 2026.
↩️ Tekla Structures Compatibility:
Models from Tekla Structures 2020–2025 that are opened and saved in Tekla Structures 2026 are not backwards compatible. Once saved, they cannot be opened in older versions.
List of ScaffPlan Improvements:

Feature |
Release Notes |
|---|---|---|
| New tool |
Frame and Brace ![]() |
ScaffPlan for Tekla now makes Frame and Brace scaffold design faster and easier with a dedicated plugin with familiar bay-style workflow built for Brand Frames, Waco Frames. Leg load engineering calculation is also supported. |
Bay tool |
Variable-Length Multi-Bay Placement |
The Scaffold Bay Tool in ScaffPlan for Tekla now supports Variable-Length Multi-Bay Placement, making complex scaffold runs faster and easier to model. Multiple bays can now be inserted in one continuous workflow, while each section of the run can use a different bay length. There is no need to stop the command placing bay lines which differ by bay lenght. Simply select the starting point, place each segment, and change the bay length from the contextual toolbar whenever the layout requires a different size. The active preview updates as the bay line is extended, providing greater speed, flexibility, and control when modelling scaffold arrangements. |
Environment |
Imperial Units Support |
Improved support for Imperial units across the application. This update ensures that imperial unit formats are respected wherever values are displayed or entered. Dialogs and tools now read from the active unit profile, providing a more consistent experience across the application. ![]() |
Tune and Clip |
Tube Centering Feature
|
The Tube and Clip tool in ScaffPlan for Tekla now includes a new Center Tube quick action. ![]() |
Bay tool |
2.5 m Bracings for Kwikstage
|
Based on user feedback the Bay tool now supports a 2.5 m bracing configuration for Kwikstage. ScaffPlan will automatically use 2.5 m braces during bay creation. This gives users more flexibility when modelling scaffold layouts that require 2.5 m bracing alignment. |
Drawings |
Part Marks
|
Following user feedback Part marks now display cleaner names for Components and Custom Items. The automatic “(custom)” suffix and scaffold system prefix (eg. "U-Layher-") have been removed from ScaffPlan.Profile, so drawings now show only the item name. When a system prefix is still required, it can be added explicitly using ScaffPlan.System template variable. This makes Tekla drawings cleaner, easier to read. |
Catalogue |
Extra components |
