1. Purpose of the feature.

Allows to create hatch stair with or without a ladder access at lifts. 

From ScaffPlan 1.7 it is possible to add/remove gates.

Hatch stair controls are available in the Bay tool menu.

 

2. Available options.

Hatch stair supports following options:

2.1.  Create hatch stairs.

To create hatch stairs set Create option to Yes and then press Modify to add hatch stairs.

To add a hatch stair with ladder access:

  1. Double click on a bay to open the Bay tool tool menu.
  2. Select an option(s) from the Hatch stair drop downs. 
  3. Press Modify button to take it into effect.

2.2.  Gates.

To add or remove gates set Create gates option to Yes or No respectively then press Modify to add hatch stairs.

2.3.  Connection at the bottom.

Supports following connection options for the top of the ladder access:

  • Ledger connection 
  • Tube and couplers 

2.4.  Flip stairs with ladders.

Allows to  mirror hatch stairs from end to end of the bay (from the bay End2 (default) to End1) with he ladder access.

2.5.  Hatch stairs at lifts.

Once the drop down is expanded  tick on/off lifts the hatch stairs required then press modify button to take the change into effect.

2.6.  Create a ladder access only.

Use the Hatch stair at lifts option to disable all hatch stairs at lifts and keep the first lift on only to add the ladder access without hatch stairs. 

2.7.  Create a hatch stair at the first lift with no ladder access.

  1. Enable the first lift platform using the Platform at lifts feature.
  2. Create hatch stairs.
